The logo on this shirt is from the second coming of Palm (2005-2010).
Palm, Headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, was responsible for some of the earliest PDA/smartphones (including the Pilot 1000, PalmPilot Pro, Palm III, Palm V, Palm VII, Zire and Tungsten, Pre, Pixi, Treo and Centro).
Palm Computing, Inc. was founded in 1992 by Jeff Hawkins. The company was originally started to write software for the consumer PDA called the Zoomer. Palm continued generating revenue by selling synchronization software for HP devices, and the Graffiti handwriting recognition software for the Apple Newton MessagePad.
The company was acquired twice over the next few years and spun out through IPO in 2000, reaching their highest value on the first day of trading. Within a year, shares had lost over 90% of their value. The company struggled for several years and was ultimately bought and shut down by HP. For more info, see the Wikipedia entry.
